ChargePlan Check is an independent website that estimates what it costs to charge an electric vehicle at home and documents the published EV rate plans of PG&E, Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any utility.

The site is run by an independent operator based in New Hampshire.

Every number here comes from a stated formula and a cited source; the methodology page lists both. The calculator does not store what you enter, and the site collects no personal data.
